Women’s Book Group

“In the rugged Pacific Northwest lies the Olympic National Forest – nearly a million acres of impenetrable darkness and impossible beauty. From deep within this old growth forest emerges a six-year-old girl, lacking social skills, speechless, dirty and scarred from abuse.” Enter two sisters and other members of a very small town as they attempt to free the child from her past of isolation and fear.
