Confirmation is a learning opportunity for students which will help them take important steps in their journey of faith. Confirmation gives students the chance to explore the key teachings of Christianity, the history of the universal Church and our local Presbyterian congregation, the life of Jesus, and what it means to be a Christian. Our time together will help us explore and articulate our unique faith stories in a small group setting.
At the end of our four-week class, students will present a statement of faith to our Session and then be presented to the congregation as new members of the church. If a student has not been baptized, they will be given the opportunity to participate in the sacrament of baptism.
