Adult Spiritual Formation

We encourage lifelong learners at CHPC as we grow in our spiritual journey as faithful believers in Christ.  We endeavor to offer a variety of opportunities for people to be involved in our Spiritual Formation programs of the church.

Our weekly programs include our Tuesday morning Women’s Bible Study, Wednesday morning Men’s Breakfast and Study, and Sunday morning Book discussion group.  Throughout the year we offer special class studies and discussions on a variety of topics including small group opportunities.  Monthly Presbyterian Women circles are also open for study, mission and fellowship throughout the year.

Eat, Pray, Lose – next workshop dates and times TBA

A workshop for those wanting to create a healthier lifestyle through nutrition and weight loss and for those seeking guidance and support to make these types of changes. The workshop will stress ways to create a life-long eating plan as opposed to a “diet” and will address problem areas participants would like to discuss, the role of exercise, healthy weight and weight loss, eating out and holidays, the benefits of teams and partners in weight loss and learning how to spot harmful ingredients in our diet.

Leader: Malia Lewis, PhD. Malia holds a PhD in anatomy and has worked as a nutrition consultant, personal trainer and aerobics instructor among other areas related to health and well being. It is her passion to help people who struggle with nutrition and weight loss and would like to offer her guidance to those who are interested.
