The Old Testament book of Nehemiah will be the focus for a Spring series for worship, study and prayer. Weekly opportunities to engage more deeply with scripture and history will be offered on Sunday mornings in addition to our Church in the Wild program and our continuing Home Groups program.
This series have been created to provide opportunities for parishioners to increase their spiritual confidence as they live by faith in their daily lives and are faithful witness into the community. Additionally we hope to assist participants in forging new and/or restoring connections within the family of faith.
The Book of Nehemiah is an inspiring historical memoir of a great leader of Israel. This Old Testament story speaks of reformation, restoration and revival. Nehemiah’s story is a blueprint for our own spiritual encouragement through prayer and perseverance. For seven weeks beginning Sunday, April 22 we will consider the life lessons presented in Nehemiah and their application for our lives today.
