On Sunday, November 15, following worship we will be presenting a Pre-Advent Workshop for holiday lovers of all ages.

As the seasons of Christmas and Advent become increasingly commercialized (Dr. Seuss saw the writing on the wall in 1957 and Charles Shultz in 1965!) we want to provide a fresh perspective on how we celebrate as faithful Christians the birth of our Savior and the anticipation of that blessed event.

All are invited to join us in the fellowship hall following worship for a workshop about the traditions of Advent and Christmas.

Come and discover meaningful and engaging ways to celebrate the birth of Jesus this year as we explore alternative holiday preparations.

A light continental breakfast will be served and activities for all ages will be provided along with childcare for our littlest angels.

The expectations of the season will be expressed in the rendering of a Jesse Tree along with lessons on new and vintage traditions of the holiday season, ideas about alternative gifts, family projects and helpful suggestions for making the season one of joy and peace.

New! This Year!
