“Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another, without grumbling. Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others…” 1 Peter 4:8 – 10a What does fellowship mean at Canyon Hills Presbyterian Church? Simply put, we love to get together, share a meal or a game, enjoy a concert and have a lot of fun! People who have visited our church multiple times find it’s easy to join in – to whatever degree they want. Some prefer to jump right in and get involved in multiple ways. Others prefer a more “wait and see” approach to determine their level of involvement. The many choices of fellowship activities are probably the easiest way to “test the water”. We hold events that give opportunities for meeting new people: bunko parties and golf tournaments; picnics, potlucks, and pancake breakfasts; concerts and ice cream socials. Most events are open to all ages, but nursery and child care is provided for those events that are not geared for children. Infants to age 3 will enjoy our beautiful nursery, while older children enjoy their own class and activity rooms. Families with young children may enjoy our family movie nights. Parents may enjoy “Parents Night Out” even better! Kids are entertained by our Children’s Ministry staff and trained volunteers. Snacks, games and crafts are offered while Mom and Dad get some time alone or attend a parenting class. All of our nursery volunteers are CPR/Infant CPR trained. People frequently say they like Canyon Hills Presbyterian Church because they “feel welcome” or they feel “comfortable” here. That is our goal. We are a family – a family of faith – and we want to be in fellowship with you!
Monday, December 17 at 7:00 PM
We can all use some space to take a deep breath and slow down long enough to feel the true meaning of Christmas. This is not only a wonderful service for those facing troubles and loss this year but is fast becoming a most treasured service for those seeking a meaningful connection with the miracle of Christmas. This is a service of healing, comfort and hope for anyone who needs a pause from our hurried culture. The music alone will sing to your heart and fill you with light and warmth.

Holiday Cards at the Coy’s
Once again we are having a gathering at the Coy’s for an afternoon of playing Hand and Foot. We had lots of fun in October. A lot of people learned how to play. I want to send a big Thank you to all those that helped with teaching. We want to have one more get together before the end of the year. A light supper will be served. Sign-ups on the registration form in the bulletin.
