About Lissa

A Southern California native, Rev. Lissa Smith is a graduate of Vanguard University and Fuller Theological Seminary.  Rev. Smith has served our church as Associate Pastor for Youth and Mission for over 20 years and now serves as the Head of Staff.  Prior to her call to Canyon Hills Presbyterian Church, Rev. Smith has served as a youth ministry director and in our Synod’s camps and conferences programs.

While serving our local church, Rev. Smith has also supported the work of the larger church serving as a core team member of the Presbyterian Youth Worker Association and small group leader and conference pastor for the Presbyterian Youth Triennium.  Passionate about supporting the community, Rev. Smith served as an elected trustee of the Orange Unified School District from 2001-2010.

Rev. Smith is married to Alan Smith, a retired local firefighter and community volunteer. They have three children, Spencer, Carter and Kelvin. As a family, they love to travel together, explore new adventurous locations and spend lazy days at the beach.
